Congratulations on the book news! I hope you find a good home for it soon! I would like a category and name for what we call sometimes hybrid memoir, but what is essentially a personal story interewoven with learning and often in all sorts of genre breaking / mixed media boxes. It’s my favourite kind of reading alongside fiction.

Thank you Zofia! Yes, I love that genre too. Non-fiction that weaves in strands from other disciplines. I love to learn things as I read, but in interesting ways 📚

Yes congratulations on the book offers. Exciting! I believe collective development has to come through personal development. That’s the rationale of my book which is still a long way from being published so I do have to keep hope as a discipline.

Thank you Charles! Yes, hope as a discipline feels an increasingly important thing to work on. I'll look forward to hearing more about your book.

I sincerely appreciate earnestness. I am struggling to make sense of the world we live in, and what a single person can do to make change, or help those who are suffering. Your thoughts help.

Thank you for your comment, Sally — and I’m glad my (eclectic & earnest!) thoughts help in some way.

Yes, it can be hard to make sense of the world and know how to live now. I find solace in the wisdom of others, and in stories of hope and persistence, and in beauty. I came across the idea that hope is a discipline, and this has been helpful too — cultivating and practicing hope as if it is a skill to improve and a routine to be held by. Thank you for being here 🙏
